THE MILL HOTEL AT SUFFOLK

Take me to the river…

It’s a picture perfect scene. Swans glide past a whitewashed mill, nestled on the riverbank by an ancient bridge, framed by weeping willows. Lush green water-meadows stretch as far as the eye can see. Welcome to The Mill Hotel, a beautifully converted watermill in the quintessential country town of Sudbury, Suffolk.

History and modernity meet here, with soothing, contemporary interiors complementing the mill’s original features, among them the waterwheel itself – an atmospheric centerpiece in the restaurant and relaxing bar. Within minutes of the hotel, picturesque villages dot some of England’s loveliest countryside in scenes made famous by romantic artist John Constable. Isn’t it time you put yourself in the picture?

Reviews from Trip Advisor

One night away

Stayed overnight at this hotel with a very good offer. The reception girl was very friendly and the food very good. We had scones and tea in the afternoon and evening meal which was delicious. The staff in the restaurant were very sociable and one of the nicest ladies was called Doreen. We were lucky that the sun shone and it was a lovely autumn day. It was nice to walk across the meadows.
